A ship model can be delivered with or without sails. Sails can be in any configuration you prefer. For instance they can be furled, hoisted, drying, or they can be completely omitted from the model if you so prefer. The image at the bottom of this page shows a model under battle-sail.
Commissioned projects can be very interactive. Your suggestions and input are certainly welcome throughout the entire process. You may also want to be kept closely informed on the progress, or you may not want to be involved until the model is finished. The choice is entirely yours!
