Greek Trireme Andreia

Design for a 1:30 scale Athenian trireme 'Andreia' of around 450BC. She has some 'coast guard marine' hoplites on board and has been pieced together from contemporary artwork, museum artifacts, coins and modern reconstructions.

Creation of the eyes shown below. Several colours were contemplated, red was chosen. The shape is after an original marble trireme eye.
